Sunday Mornings at 9:45

Coffee and Conversation, 9:45 am, Education Building

Coffee and Conversation meets at 9:45 on Sunday mornings. Each week we study and discuss passages from the Bible using series like The Gospel According to Matthew and Faith and Hope. Whether you’re new to the faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, you are welcome here. Our topics are organized so that you can participate even if you have missed some meetings.

Faith Stories, 9:45 am, Education Building

Faith Stories Study Group meets at 9:45 on Sunday mornings. We are a diverse group of men and women interested in both biblical texts and writings from various authors such as Anne Lamott, CS Lewis, the Dali Lama, Desmond Tutu and Rachel Held Evans. Participants choose a topic covered in a book or text and take turns leading the discussion. Please join us for thoughtful and lively discussions.

Men in Mission, 9:45 am, Education Building

Men in Mission meets at 9:45 on Sunday mornings as a time for fellowship, thoughtful discussion, and growing together in faith. Our conversations are enriched by the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of the men who attend. We welcome honest questions, respectful dialogue, and a desire to better understand how God’s Word speaks into the world we live in today. Our book studies explore Scripture, Christian living, and how our faith connects to the challenges and opportunities of everyday life.
Our fellowship extends beyond Sunday mornings. We regularly gather for meals together and put our faith into action through service opportunities in our community, by preparing meals at local recovery centers, participating in Habitat for Humanity builds, and partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build beds for children. We believe that growing in faith happens not only through study and discussion, but also through serving others alongside one another.

Weekdays

Word on Wednesday, 10:00 am, Fellowship Hall

Word on Wednesday gathers at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall each Wednesday morning during the school year with an alternative Teams (online) option. We are a lively group of brothers and sisters in Christ who study God’s word centered in Scripture and various book studies, including Tish Harrison Warren, Rachel Held Evans and Steve Leder. We care deeply about each other and are supportive of each other’s walk of faith.

Lunch and Learn, 11:30 am, Meeting Room

Lunch and Learn meets on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. during the school year. This women’s Bible study is a welcoming, discussion-centered group where women gather to grow in faith through Scripture, meaningful conversation, and prayer. We use workbooks and companion videos that feature trusted teachers such as Priscilla Shirer and Kelly Minter. Our time together includes sharing our lives together and prayer. Whether you’re new to Bible study or have been studying for years, you’ll find encouragement, thoughtful discussion, and an opportunity to learn and grow alongside other women.

Bible Study, 10 am, Fellowship Hall

Thursday Bible Study meets with our pastor at 10am each Thursday morning in the Fellowship Hall. We prepare ourselves to worship each week by studying the scripture texts for the coming Sunday. We dig deeply into each text, exploring the context, the interpretations, and especially the meaning for our lives today. Each class stands alone, so all are welcome at any time. Bring your Bibles and join us!

Evenings

Men in Mission, 7:00 pm, at a local restaurant, first Monday

Men in Mission meet on the first Monday of the month at a local restaurant for beer, burgers, and fellowship.

Theology on Tap, 6:30 pm, at a local restaurant every other Wednesday

Theology on Tap is a welcoming space where people from all walks of life gather for dinner, beverages, and thoughtful conversation. We meet bi-weekly at local restaurants to explore a wide range of topics—some spiritual, some theological, and always engaging. Because we typically do not follow a formal book study, every gathering is independent and unique. Join us anytime. We love hearing different voices and perspectives.
