Sometimes the need goes beyond our immediate community, and Good Shepherd responds!
We contribute to our wider world by using our hands on mission trips. Recent youth and intergenerational groups have traveled to cut trees in Augusta, Georgia after Hurricane Helene and muck homes, lay flooring, and paint in St. Myers, Florida after Hurricane Ian.
We also contribute with our funds by supporting ministries of our Synod and the ELCA, including:
- ELCA World Hunger
- Lutheran Disaster Response
- ELCA Global Mission
- Inspiritus
- ELCA – God’s Work. Our Hands.
Come join us sometime and make a difference for our neighbors and our world.
